Aug 21. The federal budget revenue is projected at RUB 10.92 tn in 2009, or 21.2% of GDP, and the surplus is scheduled at RUB 1.90 tn, or 3.7% of GDP, a government source reported. The Russian government will address the draft federal budget for 2009-2011 on Thursday. RUB 10.90 tn budget revenue and RUB 1.91 tn surplus were announced earlier at the meeting of the budget committee overseen by the government. Parameters of budget spending have also been changed and it is now scheduled at RUB 9.02 tn instead of RUB 8.99 tn. The remaining parameters of the federal budget have been left nearly unchanged compared to those approved by the budget committee in August.
