The Moscow Arbitration Court (MAC) is to hold a hearing on August 28 in the lawsuit filed by Mikhail Prokhorov against Vladimir Potanin and United Press, the publisher of Moscow Times business newspaper, seeking to protect his business reputation, the court's press service reported. As wired earlier, for formal reasons the judicial authority left the lawsuit unconsidered until August 22. Prokhorov filed a lawsuit against his former business partner and Interros owner Vladimir Potanin, and also United Press, the publisher of The Moscow Times, seeking protection for his business reputation on July 21, 2008. The statement of claim stems from Potanin's interview with the business daily published on June 11, 2008 and accusations in the interview that Prokhorov failed to meet arrangements as part of the sale of a blocking interest in Norilsk Nickel.
